Cannonau DOC – Reserve 2009
Soroi Reserve, this harmonious Cannonau Orgosolo, comes from sunny vineyards of high hill. The wine is a balanced symphony like the singing tenor of our pastors, indicated by UNESCO as a pearl of the intangible heritage of humanity. Both the song to content that Cannonau represent the true soul of Sardinia.
“Soroi” matures in oak barrels for 24 months, then in bottle for 3 months.
Cantine Orgosolo winers pay particular attention to the choice of grapes for wine production reserves in the sense that they are selected with reference to the origin of:
– Old vines, with at least 30 years of age;
– Areas of medium and high hill;
– Excellent organoleptic parameters.
The period of the harvest for our wines varies slightly depending on the season and still is between the 3rd week of September and the 1st of October. The grapes are harvested by hand and craft a soft treatment, which aims at obtaining high quality wines.
All processing of the product, including bottling, is supervised directly by the members.
