Cannonau red wine DOC 2012

Neale is a red wine , made from grapes Cannonau ( 85 %), and, Bovale ( 15 % ).
Neale matures in chestnut barrels for 6 months, then in bottle for 2 months. The period of the harvest for our wines varies slightly depending on the season and still is between the 3rd week of September and the 1st of October. The grapes are harvested by hand and processed within a few hours in the basement with the help of tools and equipment and craft a soft treatment, which aims at obtaining high quality wines. All processing of the product, including bottling, is supervised directly by the owners.
Red wine, ruby, with fruity aroma and hints of red fruits: blackberries and plums. The palate is well structured, harmonious and persistent. It goes well with red meats, and stews and cheeses sheep with partial curing.
