Cannonau DOC
Urulu is a red wine DOC from grapes Cannonau, Carignano, Bovale and other red grapes.
Urulu mature in oak barrels for 9 months, then in bottle for 3 months. The time of harvest varies slightly depending on the season and still is between the 3rd week of September and the 1st of October. The grapes are harvested by hand and subjected to a gentle treatment, aimed at obtaining high quality wines. All machining operations, including bottling are run directly by the owners.
Red wine, ruby purple with fruity hints of berries and herbs, presence of spicy notes of licorice. In palate is warm and harmonious, well structured with soft and elegant tannins. It matches with pasta, roasted meats and seasoned cheeses.
The label, which tells the story of this wine was designed by Sabina, young disegner from Nuoro and is “closed” by a silk thread produced in Orgosolo, according to an ancient tradition of manufacturing.
